A bit off that there will be a camera in between the FX3 and A7C!

Nikon Philippines made it clear that on March 25 we will have a new product announcement. There is no solid proof evidence yet what might be announced. But the speculation goes wild this might be for the new Z 8 camera.
The CIPA organization had an event on the CP+ show where they did display some interesting data. The graph on top show how the average price of cameras increased sharply. This is obvious as the smartphone market did up the entry level camera business. Companies now focus on making expensive models with big profit margin.
On this graph on top you see where the cameras are sold mostly. To my surprise Asia as a whole is trending below their top level of 2014. With a small recovery in 2022.
69% of all sold system cameras are mirrorless with the value being at 86%.
DSLR still sells ok in the USA and EU but not in Asia.

Fuji displayed a mockup of the new 30mm f/5.6 GF T/S lens at the CP+ show. Moreover there are silhouette images of the next 55mm f/1.6 GF and XF 8mm f/3.5. Fujirumors collected the images and also included images of those beautiful new Voigtlander primes:
Canon has revealed their new Deep learning image processing technology. At the moment it’s not clear when Canon will open this tech to their customers and if it also will be implemented directly into their cameras. But certainly this is impressive stuff and I hope it will be available soon for every photographer.
Here is the google translated text from their press release:
