Leica Camera Forum leaked a new image of the Leica X Vario Type 107 camera. Specs are the one I posted last week.
So after all my original specs were correct and the Leica teaser with the slogan “heard the rumors, get the truth” was just a weird attempt to fool us rumor sites :)
I guess no one will buy this camera. 2450 Euro for a fixed lens camera with 16 megapixel Sony APS-C sensor and slow lens. Niet!

The Latest Leica teaser mande me think that they may were playing us fool. But I got again new confirmatiosn that the specs I posted and the image I shared were the real deal! And also my friend Peter from Leicarumors got the same confirmation from his sources. He writes the final name will be Leica X Vario Type 107 – you can see the label on the top plate of the camera in the picture above. After Fuji Samsung could be the next company offering the Hybrid OVF-EVF viewfinder tech! Egami spotted a new patent disclosing the design of a built-in hybrid viewfinder for NX cameras. I guess we will see these kind of new tech equipped on the new High End NX cameras rumored to arrive in 2014.
