Samsung just announced that super small, very small…ultra small 10mm f/3.5 fisheye lens. Here are the specs:

Digicaminfo posted the images of the new Pentax Q7 camera. As you can see there is Black, Silver and Yellow version. The new camera that will be announced on July 5 and as previously posted it has a new larger 1/1.7 type sensor (larger than the other Q models!).
Digicaminfo reports that Pentax will soon announce the new Q7. Unlike the predecessors the Q7 will feature a larger 1/1.7 inch sensor.
There is no other info yet about the exact release date and specs. But apparently all current Q lenses can cover the larger image circle of the Q7.
A MirrorlessRumors reader sent us these nice design of an imaginary Nikon Full Frame mirrorless system having a very Fuji X oriented design. It would be nice if Nikon would really make a camera like that. But I guess this is certainly not going to happen in the next future :(

Leica posted that new teaser of the Leica X Vario Type 107 camera. Specs are known and the teaser only confirms the leaked image we posted days ago. More important is that Jonathan Slack (Click here) posted the first image samples taken with the new camera. As beautiful as the images can’t be, the 16 megapixel APS-C sensor (and the slow lens) doesn’t justify the 2450 Euro price tag. At least for me. You may have another opinion. I would rather spend 799 dollars on the discounted Fuji X cameras at at Amazon (Click here to see the dedicated Amazon page).
Fuji is doing what Leica should have done….
While Leica will attempt to spill out some money with a 2450 Euro APS-C camera with fixed slow zoom Sony is ready to launch their second Full Frame RX model! It will be announced in late August and be a “variation” of the current [shoplink 100009 ebay]RX1 (here on eBay)[/shoplink].
We don’t know the specs yet but the camera is coming for sure! Also a new RX100 MKII is coming (with Wifi and swifel LCD). The MKII will be announced by end of June already!
So what are you going to buy…the Leica or for the same price the Full Frame RX2? :)
