Hot! First images of the Samsung Galaxy NX mirrorless system camera!

You really thought the Galaxy S4 Zoom would be the big Samsung hit of the month? Nope! Samsung will announce the new Galaxy NX system camera in a special London event on June 20th. And right now the Vietnamese website tinhte leaked the pictures of the new Galaxy NX camera (Click on the pics to see a large size version).

The camera has a 4.3-inch display that on these pictures displays the Android Jelly Bean with Samsungs TouchWiz. The camera should feature a Exynos 4 Quad-Core-Processor with 2 GB RAM and 8 or 16 GB built-in storage (you can chose one or another). It has a 20.3 Megapixel APS-C sensor, records 1080p Full HD. Price should be around 1.000 Euro.

Amazon sends out warnings. The shipment of X100s’ is water damaged?

Amazon (Click here) just issued that warning on the Fuji X100s camera page. And according to unconfirmed rumors it seems that there is a very curious cause. The X100s shipment from Japan has been water damaged! If this is true than you will have to wait a long time before you can get your preorder.

The only store that has a limited amount of X100s in Stock is . And they charge you  $230 extra for it :(

DxOmark (Click here) tested the new Ricoh GR lens quality and comapred it with the Nikon Coolpix A: “if you’re looking for advice on the optical qualities of the camera’s imaging chain (the lens and sensor together), for intents and purposes the Ricoh is indistinguishable in performance to that of the Nikon Coolpix A. Given the former’s ticket is some $200 less than the latter, it gets our vote in value for money terms.“
In short…get the Ricoh :)
The only real problem is…to find it in Stock in USA! Amazon US (Click here) says it will ship in 2-3 weeks only.

Leica X Vario announced! Specs as expected.

And here it is the new Leica X Vario. And no, Leica marketing wasn’t playing with us rumor sites. We were correct right from the first time when we leaked the image and specs. It has the a fixed Vario Elmar 18-46mm 1:3.5-6.4 ASPH lens and a 16.1MP CMOS APS-C sensor. There is no built-in viewfinder, you rely on the 920k dot 3″ LCD to frame the images. A wonder why Leica teased the cameras as “Mini M” if there is no Messucher. You can of course use an external EVF. Price is 2450 Euro or 2250 Pounds or 2850 Dollars (preorders here at BHphoto).
