Sony A7s priced at $1800?

On May 7 Sony will announce the A7s pricing. According to one of our trusted sources the price could be surprisingly low: $1800! That’s about the same price of the Panasonic GH4.

I know it sounds weird but we heard that there will be two more Sony announcements. On next week on May 7 to unveil the final A7s pricing and the two new Sony FE lenses (28-135mm Powerzoom and 16-35mm Zeiss).
The week after (May 15) Sony will then unveil the RX100M3 whichs specs have been already leaked:
20MP sensor (same as RX100/M2 models)
ISO 125-25600
24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens
Built in View finder (SVGA OLED Tru-Finder 1440k dots)
Tiltable screen (180 degrees up)
Record in XAVC S format (Same format of the Sony A7s but with no 4K output option).
Almost same size and weight as the current RX100/M2 models.
I have been told all other specs are the same of the current RX100II model.
Price is said to be around 800-850 Euro in Europe. Should be around $800-850 in USA (US price is my guess)
Busy time at Sony!

Sony announced the release of the new Zeiss 16-35mm FE lens for mid summer. There is no image of the lens nor pricing info yet. But we can expect it to cost about the same of the 24-70mm FE Zeiss (here at Amazon).
A Large Zeiss aperture prime lens and a Sony G macro will be announced at Photokina:
Now listen to us companies. If you want to create a true fellowship around your system just learn from Fuji. Today they announced the new X-E2 firmware (download here). In one strike this is what has been improved:
– Enhanced EVF including the world’s fastest* display lag-time of 0.005 seconds
– Selectable colors for outlines for Focus Peak Highlight
– Added functions that can be assigned to the Fn (Function) button
– Added “Suppressed Flash” option when selecting flash mode
– The phenomenon is fixed that in FILM SIMULATION Bracketing, third picture is recorded as “ASTIA” although the third picture is set as “PRO Neg. Hi”.
Basically X-E2 owners will now have an EVF which matches the X-T1 EVF performance.
And if you wnat the X-E2 well there is a up to $100 off at Amazon US (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). What else do you need to buy one?

DRphotorumor (Thanks) just told us the Samsugn NX3000 will be announced next week sometimes between may 5 and May 8!
No specs are given yet but DRphotorumro was always right with his “rumors” so we can be sure it’s coming!
Fujirumors unveiled the updated roadmap according to their trusted sources. First of all Fuji will launch an impressive XF 16mm f/1.4 lens at Photokina!
And they will also launch a 120-400mm OIS lens which surely will become popular among bird photographers and spies :)
The third good news is that the soon to come 18-135mm lens will become 1 stop faster at the tele end. Instead of the expected f/5.6 the lens will have a f/4.8 aperture at 135mm!
Fuji really knows what lenses has to be done to make a system popular!
