Selfie madness is spreading all over the world and Sony just specialized to fulfill those absurd needs :)
After the KW1 they will announce the QX30 camera. The QX30 is a 30x xoom camera. Mental how people will use it to take selfies…I know…but I bet they will sell ton of this stuff!

ILCE-QX1:
Tomorrow (Sept. 3) at 16:30 Berlin time Sony will announce the new ILCE-QX1 smartphone mount module. It likely has the current A6000 24 megapixel APS-C sensor and will cost 300 Euro (450 Euro with the 16-50mm zoom lens). Don’t know if such a “thing” will sell or not. But Chapeau to Sony for being that innovative!
FS700II:
Filmaker.cn leaked the first image of the $10,000 E-mount 4K FS700II camcorder. 
A part of those two new cameras Sony/Zeiss will announce plenty of E-mount lenses at Photokina:
16-35mm f/4.0 Zeiss
28-135mm powerzoom
85mm FE prime Zeiss (available 2015)
35mm f/2.0 Loxia
50mm f/2.0 Loxia
Got some NX1 specs form a highly trusted source.
1) 1499 Euro for the body only
2) 28 megapixel APS-C sensor (said to be the best on market yet)
3) Phase detection af pixels on sensor
4) 154 cross type autofocus points
5) More than 10 fps per second (yet not specified by Samsung)
6) FullHD EVF (again said to be the best on market yet)
7) weatherproof body
8) Panasonic GH4 alike modern design
9) and no(!) Tizen os (unlike rumors published by other sites before)
I hope sources will soon send me some pictures of the NX1. Cannot wait to see that beast!

Just got this image. It shows a Zeiss Loxia (50mm?) on the Sony A7r! The new 50mm and 35mm f/2.0 Loxia could be announced tomorrow (or Tuesday). No idea how much they will cost yet.

The best APS-C performer at DxO yet.
One of my long time good sources said that Samsung soon to be announced NX1 is said to have the best DxOmark score of all APS-C cameras. The camera will score around the mid-80 points therefore beating the best Nikon D7100 and Sony A6000 sensors.
On September 15 Samsung will announce the 28 megapixel NX1 camera. And the first teaser has been spoiled at SamsungTomorrow. There is little to be seen on these images a part of the huge grip :)
I am working to get more specs…this will be the big news at Photokina for sure!

On Monday/Tuesday Zeiss is going to announce a new series of lenses named “Loxia”. These are lenses designed for Sony E-mount Full Frame mirrorless system. The first two lenses will be the 35mm f/2.0 and 50mm f/2.0 lenses. Both manual focusing and both with physical aperture ring (and available electronic control).
As far as I heard these lenses are not bounded to the sole Sony FE system. If Fuji or someone else is going to launch a Full Frame mirrorless system camera Zeiss can offer those lenses in that mount too!
