Axiom: The first complete Open Source 4K camera!

Sebastian Pichlofer just introduced me to his amazing full Hardware and Software Open source 4K camera project! I am not going to talk a lot about it. Just read everything you need at Indiegogo.com where he also collects the necessary $$$ to realize the idea.

Note: Philip Bloom also supported the project. Just to say how important and cool this is!

Big Sony lens announcement coming tomorrow (Sept 12)!

Sony isn’t going to announce any new photocamera for Photokina but there will be plenty of new FE lenses coming tomorrow (Sept 12) at 7am London time.

Sony US posted the teaser image you see above and saying there will be a “WOW” in glass. Let’s hope we will all be really “wowed” when we see those lenses tomorrow :)
