Hasselblad will announce the new 907X 100 Megapixel back on January 24
On January 24 Hasselblad will announce the new 907X 100 Megapixel X-mount back. It’s the same sensor of the Hasselblad X2D. I have no info about the price but it will definitely be more expensive than their current 907x 50MP.

Latest CIPA November data confirms the market bottomed out
Shipments of cameras throughout the yard remained on par with the previous two years. A clear sign that the whole market has bottomed out and we can finally stop worrying about the camera market going to be killed by smartphones :)
CES events: Sony might announce a new E-mount FX camera while Panasonic will announce the 100mm f/2.8 macro L
Sony and Panasonic will have two product announcement events on January 8th. This will be mostly focused on home appliances and automobile news. But we might get some new camera/lens gear too:
- Sony could announce a new FX camcorder (FX6 or FX9 successor)
- Panasonic is likely going to announce a new 100mm f/2.8 L-mount macro lens
So far Canon and Nikon have not announced any press event for the CES show.
