Zenit confirms they will launch a Full Frame medium format system camera in 2018
The Russian company Zenit told at Rns.online that they will launch their first Full Frame medium format system camera in 2018. There are yet no info about the possible specs of this camera.
Note: Back in 2016 Zenit announced that Zenitar 50mm f/0.95 FF E-mount lens. And I guess this lens will be available for their new system camera too.
New Canon patent shows they are working on a “curved sensor” too!
There is a brand new published Canon patent that discloses a very new kind of camera:
1) It has a curved sensor
2) It has a new EF mount with a lever to detach the lens ( no need to turn)
3) The camera in the patent is a cinema camera but it can be used for a more classic photo mirrorless system camera too
So after Sony and Nikon also Canon is patenting curved sensor tech. Whom will be the first to launch an actual product on the market? My bet goes on Sony…
