The Japanese site Nokihsita leaked the G1XIII specs. These is the google translated text:
I saw plenty of bad press and heavy critics by the photography community on the new Yashica camera Kickstarter campaign. But what we learned is that an innovative idea seems to count much more than the opinion of the press.
Yashica raised around $800,000 and is getting really close to the million dollar mark. they raised nearly 10 times the requested target funding. I am not convinced by Yashicas idea but I admire their balls for trying something innovative! Canon and Nikon could take a leasson from them :)
Canon will soon launch the new G1XIII and the pricing info just got leaked by Nokishita:

Sony is rumored to launch a “GH5 Killer” on October 18. But I guess that while the Sony A7sIII (or A9s) specs might be impressive the price will be even more impressive :) I really don’t think it will compete against the GH5 if it costs twice as much!

I had to read their text on Kickstarter multiple times before to understand how this works :)
Yashica launched a digital camera that records images on a “Digital-film”. This digital-film is sort of preloaded with a filter and you can buy different versions of it.
Yashica writes:
In both appearance and sensation, YASHICA Y35 recaptures the joy and meaning of analogue-photography but eliminating the time and expense required for film development.
Taste as analogue camera, need to load a “digiFilm” to create your album. A brief pause is required to wind on the film before shooting. At this millisecond of pulse, it grants us time to inspire and think, the exact moment the shutter snaps.
The innovative digiFilm system was created by YASHICA. It features a glass lens for super sharp photos, an advanced automatic mode that makes sure every shot is perfectly exposed with an aperture of 2.8 as well as lot of creative digiFilm.
Don’t know if this will become a winner-concept. But for sure it’s quite unique! Here is a video that shows how it works:
