What do you want to read first…the good or bad news? Let’s start with the bad news:
1) If you click on the chart above you will notice that system camera shipments in September were lower compared to last year. Which is quite a bummer if you consider that last year we had the Kumamoto disaster.
2) The good news is that fixed lens camera sales are still strong and makes up for the bad system camera performance. The total camera shipment is therefore still higher than 2016
Nokishita spotted a total of three new camera registrations in Asia. It’s yet not certain what these cameras are but Fujirumors writes:
My guess is that it could be the Fujifilm X-A5, the X-T100 and the X-T2S. The X80 is also an option, but not sure if it will sport the X-TransIII sensor, as reported here.

These are the first images of the new Leica XY. No specs are know yet but the camera should be announced by end of this month.

This lens is a great addition on both the MFT and Sony E-mount lineup. Nokishita tweeted that the pricing info and preorder starts on November 9.
