The Sony folks can be happy to know that today Voigtlander announced two more lenses. The 110mm f/2.5 macro and the 21mm f/3.5 lens. And at Cp+ you can also see some first real world images of the other new Sigma, Tokina and Tamron lenses:

This is really bad: CIPA released the January camera shipment data and they went down nearly 30%.
I really did hope 2018 would at least remain on the 2017 sales level. But it seems my hopes were misplaced…
Sigma announced a list of new Sony FE lenses. But the big disappointment is that these are actually based on currently existing DSLR lenses. What Sigma did is “glue” a MC-11 adapter on them :)
The only real advantage seems to be that you don’t have to spend extra $$$ on the adapter and that these lenses can do AF-C on Sony cameras. All lenses are now listed at BHphoto with no info on pricing and shipment date.
Sony at last announced the new Sony A7III which you will be able to preorder from 10am NYC time at Amazon, BHphoto and Adorama.

Canon finally announced the new EOS-M50. You can preorder it now at BHphoto and Adorama.
There is also a nice new Canon Speedlite 470EX-A1 with AI Bounce Function. You can also preorder that one at BHphoto and Adorama.
