D’oh…SD card fails during Tony Northrups Canon EOS-R review
This will put some heat in the Single vs Dual card debate :)
This will put some heat in the Single vs Dual card debate :)
The Japanese website MyNavi interviewed Canon managers. And there are a couple of things I wanna share here:
–
found via Digicameinfo.
Fujirumors spilled out the first specs of the new GFX 50R camera that Fuji will annnounce on September 25:
More over this camera will be priced at around $4,500 making it the cheapest digital medium format camera ever made!
This has been an exciting time in the mirrorless world and we still have some Zeiss, Sony, Fuji, Ricoh announcement ahead. But ther very single announcement that excites me most is the one from Panasonic on September 25.
It’s rumored they will launch a completely new Full Frame mirrorless system camera. We have no relaible info yet and here I am only going to sum speculations and low ranked rumors I found on the web:
– Very hybrid focusd camera like the GH series
– High Video quality performance
– Takes current MFT lenses with adapter (crop mode)
– Preorders will open in January and shipment start in March
– Sensor made by Panasonic and not Sony
I see the potential for this camera to be superior to the current Canon and Nikon offerings. But still, I think it will be very hard for Panasonic to gain customers on this new system. They would really need to WOW us a lot to win over people.
Yes dear folks, on this world you can find a pancake that sells for 1199 Euro! It’s the new 35mm f/2.7 from ExperimentalOptics. And you can have one on Kickstarter. Interestingly enough not a single person has yet bough this lens…why? :)
The NX1 still sells for $2,460 on Amazon
We know Samsung is capable of doing great APS-C sensor (just look at the NX1 camera). And many still wish Samsung will come back doing APS-C or FF sensors for other manufacturers. There is yet no evidence supporting that’s really going to happen. But there is a big discussion within the Korean Forum Seeko.kr that attracted my curiosity. According to a user report Samsung is doing this:
O f course this is just forum talk for now and has near zero credibility. But I keep fingers crossed this will be true. it would be about time to get an alternative to Sony’s domination!
I know Full Frame is the big thing of the moment. But all FF cameras are expensive and features crippled in one way or another. If you want a camera without compromises you have to go for this new Fuji X-T3! The preorders are now open at Bhphoto, Adorama and Amazon. In Europe at ParkCameras, Calumet.de. In Australia at CameraPro.
