Geekster has announced their new 35mm f/1.1 for Sony E, Fuji X, MFT and EOS-M mirrorless cameras:
7 Elements in 6 Groups
Click F-Stop Ring
Reversible Bayonet Lens Hood
Rugged Metal Body
It surely looks like Sony is giving a lot of efforts to keep the Micro Four Thirds kicking and alive! They announced this new 47MP sensor (41MP in 4/3 mode) capable of recording 8K video.
I am pretty sure we will get 8K MFT mirrorless cameras long before 8K will be available for Full Frame. At the moment an 8K FF camera in a compact body would create a nuclear alike Chernobyl explosion :)
The image above show the new Sony A9II leaked via SonyAlphaRumors. And we can be 100% certain it will be announced soon because Nokishita spotted the A9II name registration in Asia:
Those of you waiting for the A7sIII and A7IV have to wait at least til 2020 to see them :(
43rumors leaked the image of the new E-M5III that will be announced on October 17. The camera will have most of the E-M1X features for a fraction of the price. If that’s really the case I think it will sell well!
E-M5III rumor summary:
Announcement on October 17 (99% certain)
Same 20MP E-M1II sensor with 121 cross-type phase detection pixels
New processing engine
Lighter, more plasticky but still weather sealed body
Same BLS-50 battery of the PEN and E-M10 camera series (60% certain)
It’s already listed on the Canon US page:
