The Official Nikon word is that the Nikon DL compact will ship on June 30. But according to info we got from dealers it’s more likely that those cameras will start shipping in late September or early October at best!
The bad news goes one because we also heard:
- No major Sony E-mount or RX camera announcement in June
- Olympus E-PL8 launch delayed til late Summer
- Shipment shortage of current models will hit us soon
The Sony Kumamoto sensor facility damage will have sever consequences for almost all companies.
