Well folks, you might be able to get a new Leica D-Lux 8 before the Fuji X100VI is in Stock :)
That’s because Leica is rumored to announce the new D-LUX 8 in May/June already! Here are the rumored specs:
- 24MP APS-C sensor (no more Four Thirds sensor like the D-LUX 7 had)
- integrated EVF
- new zoom lens (spec unknown yet)
- 1600 Euro pricing (which is 200 Euro less than the Fuji X100VI)
- same minimalistic design of the Leica Q3
- Announcement May/June and availability soon after
I am surprised to hear that they will use a zoom lens. I would have imagined them going with a prime lens! But definitely the craziest part of the rumor is the pricing…less than the Fuji? What do you think about those specs?
