On April 27, 2020 at 9:30 PM EDT DJI will announce the new Mavic Air 2. These are the leaked specs:
- 48 megapixels. (These may be 12MP images stitched together to achieve 48MP.) This comes courtesy of a larger, 1/2-inch CMOS sensor.
- 3-axis image stabilization and several intelligent automated photo modes
- 34min flight autonomy thanks to the larger 3500mAh at 11.5 volts battery
- 68.4 kilometers per hour (42.5 miles per hour)
- New controller design with Ocusync 2.0
- no upward or side-facing sensors
