We don’t know yet WHAT model Sony will announce. But I am now 99% certain we are getting a new Full Frame E-mount Alpha camera on November 19. What are YOU hoping to get?
Oh yes… I’d forgotten all about that one company! After a lame year, Sony will finally announce a new full-frame E-mount camera at the end of November. I don’t know what’s coming, but there are two options: One is expensive (Sony A1II) and one is more affordable (Sony A7V).
Along with this new camera, Sony will probably also announce a new lens… maybe the crazy 24-70mm f/2.0 GM we heard about months ago? Either way, we still have about a month to go and I’m sure more information will come out before the announcement. What do you make of this? Is there anything you’re eagerly awaiting?
Fujirumors reports that FujiFilm will announce a 1 inch half frame camera in 2025. It’s a sort of digital version of the popular Pentax 17 half frame film camera. The sensor will be aligned vertically and give you images tiktokkers and instagrammers will find very useful to publish ASAP.
I am stunned to see Fuji having the balls to do this!
According to our trusted sources from Fujirumors, Fujifilm is working on a completely new digital camera that has never been hinted at or rumored before. It is a camera that is the first in a new product line, not a successor to an existing model!
And what’s even more exciting is that it’s not the previously rumored XPan camera (which will be launched in 2028) or the fixed-lens GFX (which will be launched in 2025). The big news at the end: it will also have a brand new sensor!
Guys…let’s talk about the devil for a moment…will this be Fuji’s first full frame camera? Oh dear…I’m really sad! :)
I am really not sure this is going to happen…but if it happens this is BIG news and will scare out the shit from classic Japanese manufacturers!

There are now the first wild rumors (meaning they are unconfirmed and not from reliable sources) that Canon will announce the new R1X in 2025. I think this is more like wishful thinking after the great disappointment of the R1. Canon clearly stated that the R1 was the ultimate flagship. However, I bet Canon will learn its lesson and perhaps announce a high-resolution flagship in 2-3 years. But before that we will get a new Sony A1II and a new Nikon Z9II that will raise the bar further.
