43rumors shared the first additional specs of the GH6:
- rolling shutter is eliminated
- Not sure if they also eliminated mechanical shutter but there is a chance for it.
- And last but not least a massive improvement in AF. It may called DFD AI. They claim that tracking is 5 times better than in GH5.
- no phase detection AF.

These OM-1 spec sheet leaked online and it confirms the rumored specs 43rumors posted two days ago. The camera uses the new Sony 20MP Quad Pixel sensor. We have to see how good this is in the real world!

Cool day for MFT folks: Both OM digital and Panasonic launched their teaser pages for the OM-1 and GH6
Micro Four Thirds folks will finally get two cameras: The OM-1 and the GH6. Today we got this:
- OM Digital just confirmed a product announcement for February 15th in their teaser video posted today (watch it below).

And here it comes: New OMD MFT flagship camera will be announced on Feb 24th, ship in March, cost around $2,000
After a long silence we finally will get the first camera from the new OM Digital company. The so called “wow” camera will be announced on February 24th and start shipping out a couple of weeks after. Price should be around $2,000.
this better be good because at $2,000 you can find plenty of decent Full frame cameras too!
Sigma will announce the new 20mm f/2.0 E/L mount Full Frame lens and three APS-C X-mount lenses on February 9th
On February 9th we will get four new lenses:
- A new Full Frame 20mm f/2.0 E and L-mount lens
- The 16-30-56mm f/1.4 Trio as a new X-mount variant
Will Canon announce three new R cameras in 2022…and one of them will be APS-C?
CanonRumors reports about possible three new R camera coming in 2022. CanonWatch writes:
Rumor has it that Canon might be set to release three new EOS R cameras. So, what are these cameras? One might be the already mentioned EOS R model with an APS-C sensor, said to be “maybe a little M50 mixed with some 7D“. Whatever that means. The “maybe” part sees use a bit skeptical.
Next, there might be a new entry level full-frame EOS R model in the pipeline. This camera is said to use the imaging sensor of the EOS R6. Just above this camera, there might be another EOS R model with “new image sensor, but a lower pixel count than the Canon EOS R5“
Finally, the same source suggests that at least one of the three mentioned new EOS R models might come without an Electronic Viewfinder (EVF). This might concern the most entry level of these cameras.
The EOS-M might be at the end of his life if Canon will make APS-C R-mount cameras!
