Will Canon launch the APS-C R7 camera along two RF-S lenses?

No doubt that the day will come that Canon will silently kill the EF-M lineup and introduce new APS-C cameras with RF mount. Unconfirmed (and for now not reliable) rumors say the new R7 might be announced in late 2022 along two RF-S lenses. Here are the specs:

  • 32mp APS-C BSI Image Sensor
  • 20fps
  • DIGIC X
  • 1x CFExpress & 1x SD Card Slots
  • 4K @ 60fps
  • 1080p @ 240 fps
  • C-Log 3
  • The latest hot shoe
  • A combination of ergonomics from the EOS R6 and EOS R5
  • Announcement in August 2022

New Lumix S camera with “Sick AF” performance might be announced soon!

In his latest LUMIX live-session, Sean Robinson did place another easter egg. While picking up a card reader that “accidentally” fell to the ground, he showed a printing on the back of his t-shirt: “S1CK A.F.”

Likely a hint for a new camera with phase detection AF? Sean did a similar “eater egg” action before the GH6 launch. And I guess this time he is doing it for a new S camera!

Thanks Harry!
