Hasselblad with big announcement on September 18th. It is the “almost” medium format mirrorless camera?

Noisycameragot his hands on a Hasselblad message pointing out an invitation for a big product presentation on September 18th. The message says: “In 2002 at photokina Hasselblad launched the revolutionary H System that changed and shaped the medium format market of the new millennium. Embraced by professional and amateur photographers around the world, it is still the unsurpassed standard for craftsmanship and ultimate image quality. In 2012, 10 years later, our commitment to innovation, evolution and expanding to new horizons is as uncompromising as it has always been in the century long history of Hasselblad.”

A coupel of weeks ago CSCmagazine and some other rumors I got from my sources Hasselblad said that they will announce a Mirrorless camera featuring a sensor double the size of an FF sensor. It’s not an it’s something new. And unlike other Medium Format cameras that usually uses CCD sensors we have been told that this has a CMOS sensor. No info about the price but it will be expensive stuff for sure :)

Sigma: We will not make any mirrorless system camera.

A Sigma Manager stated in an interview at Xitek (Translation here) that they will never launch an own mirrorless system. But they will do lenses for other mirrorless systems instead.

So this EOS-M is using the Kiss X6i sensor in a camera that has the size of the Panasonic GF5. Ha….what do you think now?

Some more Canon leaks with Canon Flash.

Here are some new images of the Canon mirrorless posted on the usual Canon rumor websites like CR and CW and so on…
Thinking on all these leaked pics it’s really looking like an entry level APS-C mirrorless camera. Apparently Canon believes that there is the market…with amateurs and not on the pro segment.

More Canon mirrorless camera pictures!

More pictures have been leaked via CR. You can see the Canon’s mirrorless camera (EOS M) and the new EF-M 22mm f/2 STM lens.It looks liek an entry level system camera and very compact in his size. It almost makes me think the sensor is smaller than APS-C!!! What do you think?

The lens has 22mm, it would be 44mm if the sensor would have a Four Thirds sensor size and a 33mm lens with an APS-C sensor.
