it sounds like we are going to see a new Sony and Fuji Full Frame mirrorless battle in 2013! Sony manager Mark Weir unveiled at Imaging Resource that “Well, I think everyone understands that if we can make the VG900, we could make a still camera variant of that.“. And he is talking about a “rangefinder styled” camera. A NEX-9 with FF sensor?

Photokina is still not over but Fuji and Sony are already hinting some new exciting news for the next months. Should Canon and Nikon be worried for their DSLR FF market? I think yes!

DSLRMagazine (via PR) unveiled on twitter that today Hasselblad will announce the new medium format mirrorless camera with “rounded shape“. They say it’s a “luxuruy NEX” :)
Damn, I can’t wait to get my hands on that digital Mamiya 7…that would be my dream camera! Oh, wait…how much will it cost? :(

One more news: Fuji X PRO 1 owners can now doanload the new 2.0 firmware at http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/xpro1/index.html!

Today is a big day! All starts with the Fuji XF1 announcement at 6am London time. Olympus announcement is scheduled for 10am, Panasonic for 12am. Than we will have Leica and Hasselblad.

This is just to say that I will have massive work to do today!

The leaking time before Photokina keeps going. The image on top shows the new Leica LX7 alike camera. And below there is the new Leica super zoom. Still no image of the upcoming M10 camera. We are patiently waiting..
