Two new rumors to report:

• Samyang might soon announce a new 16-35mm FE lens (and maybe L-mount version coming later?)
• Nikon ZF confirmed to be announced on September 20 at 5-6am London time.

SAR reports that Sigma plans a live streaming event on October 6th. And they are likely to announce the new 70-200mm f/2.8 lens (for both Sony E and Leica L)

Panasonic launched this teaser for a September 12 announcement. And the teaser is super clear with their hints:

• This is a Micro Four Thirds “G” camera
• the “new phase” means this will be Panasonic first MFT camera with phase detection AF
• Announcement on September 12 at 22:00 Peking time (That’s 3pm London time).

I am pretty certain we will get a new G9II. Hopefully this will revive some enthusiasm in the MFT realm!

This could be the first images of the new GFX100II.

• GFX100II with new 102MP BSI sensor (used on Sony A6700)
• GFX100II compatible with CFexpress Type B and SD-Cards
• GF55mmF1.7 and Tilt Shift 30mm + 110mm F5.6 coming September 12
• GFX100II Video Specs: 8K video, 4K/60p, 10 bit 4:2:2, ProRes Internal

I just heard from a source that for some unknown reasons Nikon moved the ZF announcement to early September. My guess is that Nikon wants to see what Sony will announce on August 29 first :)
