The new Sony camera regsitered in Asia with the code “WW771132”

1) Fuji is rumored to announce some new gear within May. We know Fuji registered a camera code…maybe a new fixed lens X100 model coming?

2) There is a 80% chance Sony will announce new E-mount stuff too.  Also Sony registered a new camera code: Could be A6700 or A7sIII.

3) Leica will also announce a new camera as they also registered such a code

No word yet if the big Canon meeting in mid-May will give us some new camera too…

Nikon just said in NHK interview that new mirrorless cameras will be on market by Spring 2019

Nikoneye.com just spotted a new Nikon interview streamed by NHK. Adn we finally got an exact timeframe of WHEN the new Nikon mirrorless cameras will be on market.
It might be that Nikon will show the new cameras at this years Photokina. But it seems like we will still have to wait til Spring 2019 before the postman will deliver it to your home.

There is yet no rumor about the possible specs from the Nikon mirrorless. Form what we heard those Z-mount specs going around the web are pretty much wrong. All we can do is some guessing:

  • It will be Full frame
  • It will have a newly designed sensor with PDAF
  • Nikon F mount adapter will be priced very low and deliver nearly “native” autofocus speed
  • At least three lenses will be announced with the camera and probably a roadmap will be disclosed too
