September 4/5:
– Canon will announce a new mirrorless camera (maybe Full Frame?)

August-September (unknown date):

September-October (unknown date):
– Sony is rumored to announce two cameras: A6700 and A7sIII
– Leica should announce a new SL camera

Olympus will not announce any new camera this year. Expect a high end Olympus MFT camera to be announced in February-March!

Thew new Fuji X-T3 will be priced lower(!!!) than the X-T2

Not only Canon and Nikon but also Fuji has some big announcements coming soon. They will announce the new GFX rangefinder styled camera and the new new X-T3. About the latter Fujrumors reports:

I have been told by a trusted source (thanks), that the Fujifilm X-T3 will cost less than the Fujifilm X-T2 at it’s current official price tag (without rebates), hence less than $1,599.

Well that’s a nice thing to hear!

Confirmed! New Canon mirrorless camera to be announced on September 4/5!

I can confirm via my own sources what CanonWatch also reported yesterday: I am now 100% sure Canon will announce a new mirrorless camera on September 4/5 (depending on where you live it will be Sept 4 or Sept 5).

I got no info about the specs of this camera…all I have been told is that it’s a big “mirrorless camera launch event”. Easy to guess that Canon will launch their answer to the Nikon FF mirrorless…

New leaked images of the Nikon Full Frame Mirrorless!

Dilireba leaked these new images of the Nikon Full Frame mirrorless that will be announced on August 23. The camera surely doesn’t have a classic look…do you like it? Join our Nikon FF mirrorless facebook group to discuss about this!

UPDATE: It’s also the first time we can see the top LCD from the Nikon

Olympus will “skip” Photokina but will announce their new top range MFT camera in very early 2019

Olympus will skip this years Photokina and not announce any new camera. But we know from very reliable sources that Olympus will announce a new high-end model camera in very early 2019 (probably in February).

This will be Olympus most advanced camera ever. Even more high-end than the E-M1II. What’s intriguing is that with Canon and Nikon FF mirrorless coming Olympus will have to really offer something exceptional to grab some attention!
