TheCameraStoreTV team tested the new EOS-M3 and in very short says: “It’s well designed but it’s to expensive for what you get.“. I think Canon will show us more exciting mirrorless cameras in 1-2 years when they willl launch their Full Frame mirrorless system…

Introducing the ultra-high sensitivity 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor – Canon EXPO Paris 2015

Canon Expo Paris posted a full hd video from glowworms in a cave New Zealand, they are not visible to the humans eye – very impressive! It has been taken with the ME20F-SH camera that will be released in December.
The conclusion at 01:32 min. demonstrates, the Professional camcorder Canon XA25 see only a light fluoresce with his highest 30db gain.
At 02:13 min. is the world first real time video from the worms in utter darkness, in the deep from the cave.
At 03:03 min. the camera can also capture the milky way in the sky in real time.

Samsung NX500 DxO sensor reviewed: “New leader for hybrid APS-C sensor image quality”.

Bildschirmfoto 2015-10-10 um 13.06.37

DxOmark tested the NX500 sensor and the results are impressive! It beats the previous leader the Sony A6000 by 5 points! Samsung really achieved some great results with their latest generation sensor. Beating Sony means beating the best sensor maker to date. I am now wondering if a performance like that will be enough to make the NX system attractive. Seems like Samsung has an “image problem” among the photographers community.

Look at that video: Canon 250 megapixel camera with 800mm lens!

You remember that 250MP prototype Camera from Canon? On that video you can see why the hell that crazy Megapixel number matters! The tester sent me (And Also CanonWatch) that text:

The test with the 800mm lens is impressive!
A advertising on an hotel can read with the 800mm on top from 15km distance!
An human can see from 3km distance.
A big building can see from a distance 20-25 km with a normal lens!
And canon can stabilize the ,,fata morgana effect” (see at 2:04 min) from hot rising air. Canon call it ,,removal Turbulence”.

Cool!

Ken Rockwell kills the A7rII: Says it’s for Hobbyist and not for Photographers.

Bildschirmfoto 2015-09-28 um 14.58.35

Is the Sony A7rII the really first camera that can be defined as a “PRO” camera? Well according to the Chuck Norris of photography Ken Rockwell the answer is no! Actually his answer is more an insult to Sony camera owners than just a negative conclusion:

A photo hobbyist is someone who loves talking about pixels, software, apps, bit depths and especially loves playing with a zillion different brands of lenses on adapters. That’s why hobbyists and gizmo fans love this camera so much.

Hobbyists are completely different from photographers, photographic artists or pro shooters. The problem with the A7R II for use by a photographic artist like myself is that while A7R II images look great, its colors never look as great in real-world shots as I get directly from my Canons and Nikons. Most people are hobbyists and won’t notice the subtle things I do, and therefore I certainly recommend the A7R II, but for serious work, the Sony isn’t there yet.

Wow, Sony fellows will not like to read this!

Now Sony has two options: Either they make a superb A9 or they destroy Ken’s laptop so that he cannot harm them anymore :)
