Fuji may go Full Frame mirrorless?

Amateur Photographer interviewed Mr. Hiroshi Kawahara from Fuji. And he confirmed that “Fujifilm technicians are seriously investigating the possible launch of a full-frame compact system camera (CSC) and are focusing on the sensor and processor that would be required.” Mr Kawahara also confirmed that “the covering circle of Fuji’s current X-series lenses is large enough to accommodate full frame.” The problem is that current wide angle lenses would not cover the full FF area.

Intruiguing. I only can say…go Fuji! Do it! What do you think?

Fuji shows five new X lenses!

The polish website Optyczne (Click here) just published the pictures of five new Fuji X lenses. These are the specs:
Fujinon Super EBC XF 10–24 mm f/4 R LM OIS
Fujinon Super EBC XF 23 mm f/1.4 R
Fujinon Super EBC XF 27 mm f/2.8 R
Fujinon Super EBC XF 55–200 mm f/3.5–4.8 R LM OIS
Fujinon Super EBC XF 56 mm f/1.4 R

Really some nice lenses they are offering here! There is no info about price and availability yet. You heard something about that?

No joke…Hasselblad announces a NEX-7 alike camera for 5.000 Euro!

We will never know how the heck Hasselblad came to the idea to make a luxury version of the Sony NEX-7…name it “lunar”….. and price it at 5.000 Euro! Yes, It is a NEX-7 (same sensor and specs) with lot of weird design and expensive materials to cover it. Made for rich housewives I guess! The bad news is that this super “Lunar” camera also killed our hopes to see a new medium format mirrorless camera :(

Hasselblad and Sony also announced a new partnership that will lead to develop new products for the DSLR and Mirrorless Sony system.
