Canon in show-off mode: Showing the prototype of a camera with the new 250 MP sensor!

At the Chinese CPSE, Canon showed this prototype of a box camera with the newly developed 250 megapixel sensor. Of course, Canon is not saying if and when this sensor will make it into a real mass production model. Nevertheless, I think the megapixel race is over and such cameras with crazy resolution are only for an extreme niche market.
