Sony will live stream a product announcement event on September 1

Right in time for the IFA in Berlin Sony plans to introduce new electronic products. Hard to think that Sony will announce new E-mount cameras or lenses as this is more a of a general electronic fair like the CP+. This is what they write on their website:

Hello and welcome to the Sony IFA 2016 page. This is where you’ll find all the latest Sony news and product announcements from Berlin as soon as they happen, and we’ll also be sharing photos, video footage and more across the entire event. It’s just like being at IFA itself, but without all the walking!To watch the livestream of the Sony press conference, make sure you check back here on Thursday September 1st at 1pm Berlin time (12pm GMT), where you’ll see our President and CEO Kazuo Hirai announcing our latest products live from the Messe Berlin.

Keep in mind there are two more big events this year, the Photokina and the PhotoPlus show. Sony is rumored to announce the following stuff  within the next couple fo months: 16-35mm GM, 100mm f/2.8 STF, Sony High End E-mount camera and maybe a new entry level Sony A7 mark III.
